Potassium aluminum sulfate is a colorless crystal or powder.


Odorless, slightly sweet, astringent, and astringent. It loses crystal water when weathered in dry air, and dissolves in humid air. Easily soluble in glycerol and soluble in water. The aqueous solution exhibits an acidic reaction, and aluminum hydroxide colloid precipitates after hydrolysis.

Product Application

 

 

1.It is mainly used as a coagulant for warm and turbid water to purify water quality.
2.In the papermaking industry, it is used as a sizing agent and used in conjunction with rosin emulsion for paper sizing to improve the water-resistant strength of paper.
3.In the pharmaceutical industry, it is used as a preservative, astringent, and hemostatic agent. Added into alum, it can be used as an external astringent and hemostatic agent;
4.In light industry, it is used as a colorant for yellow medical glass.
5.Used as aluminum tanning agent in tanning industry.
