Europium oxide is used as an activator for red phosphors in color TVs phosphors for high-pressure merc ury lamps.
Europium oxide is used to make dyes, rubber vulcanization accelerators, med pesticides and fungicides, amino resins, ethyl enediamine urea-formal resins, metal chelating agents EDTA, etc.Used as a solvent for fibrin, etc.
